Man, people are so quick to judge. Innocent until proven guilty? Hah. You know, a kid can get mad, make a false accusation, and ruin the reputation of an innocent teacher or coach forever.

I am a student at East, and I just think that Brizard is not fit to run this school district. I was in the cafeteria and that's where the weapon was found. The meeting being held tonight is about Brizard challenging the teachers at East about changing the school. But he said that he didnt see any threat to our school. I hope that this will open his eyes. It was crazy there were cops everywhere and many students were "arrested" for standing up and being curious as to why we were being held hostage in the cafeteria, auditorium, and our classes. It was like we were incarcerated. I definately dont agree with Brizard's "no suspension" policy, and I dont think that it is right how he says that he is trying to keep us "SAFE' when we were right in the midst of the weapon all of our lives were in danger.

The Superintendent is being dangerously naive about these In School Suspensions rooms. Students freely leave the rooms, or allow their cohorts in while ignoring adult requests.
